Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessments should be carried out on workstations periodically, and following any substantive change. There are a range of factors that should be taken into consideration, many of which are included on our FREE poster.

Surveys have found that a high proportion of DSE workers report aches, pains, or eye discomfort. These aches and pains are sometimes called upper limb disorders (ULDs), which can include a range of medical conditions. Most of these conditions do not indicate any serious ill health, but it makes sense to avoid them as far as possible.
