This two day ‘train the trainer’ course teaches delegates how to instruct colleagues in the safe use of abrasive wheels. Delegates will learn how to set training objectives, plan for training, and decide what training aids to use. Practical demonstrations and exercises are at the core of this course.

• Legal aspects of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations relating to training requirements.
• Elements of training relating to abrasive wheels.
• Design, implementation, and evaluation of training sessions.

Delegates should have a good working knowledge of the use of Abrasive Wheels and be able to demonstrate competency, knowledge and understanding, which will adequately support their training as an Abrasive Wheels Instructor.

Participants will prepare and present an assessed presentation demonstrating the range of skills required to become an abrasive wheels instructor.
