PART 1 – Covers:

  • Identify chemicals in the workplace
  • Recognise on site leaks and spills
  • List procedures for chemical spill emergencies (Company Procedures)

  • Describe how to shut down, contain and dispose of chemicals safely following clean-up
  • Follow precise decontamination procedures

PART 2 –  The Live Exercise.

For this element as we will be assessing not only the reactions and response of your spill team but also the whole command and control structure and performance of your crisis management team. The exercise will be assessed from invocation to completion and debrief.

PART 3

Review and Wash Up. So how did we do? Supported by a subsequent report and incident assessment and performance score, Part 3 will include a preliminary review of the incident, how each element and role performed and the areas for improvement.
